The government has stated that it would move to lead the global standardization of medicinal image-based AM modeling. The Ministry of Science and ICT’s National Radio Research Agency stated it had presented two regular proposals. The proposals were all on medicinal image-based additive manufacturing modeling.

This as new plans to the ISO/IEC JTC 1, a shared technical representative of the International Electrotechnical Commission and International Organization for Standardization in the AM and scanning Industry.
According to the ministry, the Korean specialists will take the action to drive for the global regularity of medicinal image-based AM. This is via a partnership with international experts. It also stated that the proposals may be established as global patterns by 2022.
Clearly, the two regular proposals describe processes for making a customized additive manufactured prosthetic. This is dependent on a sufferer’s medical form.
In case the proposals become global measures they will be utilized for the manufacturing of products and machines. This is by use of 3D printers and 3D models for medicinal purposes declared the ministry.
The establishment of a production procedure depending on global measures will come in handy. It will assist the physicians to make and utilize suffer-specific 3D printed medical items. They will do it conveniently minus complex manual procedures of producing present implants.
