Intech Additive Solutions is an Indian firm that specializes in metal 3D printing. The firm has launched a new line of metal 3d printing machines. The machines are known as iFusion series. The metal additive manufacturing systems are completely designed and created at Intech Additive Solutions’ office in Bangalore.

Intech Additive Solutions was previously called Intech DMLS. The company is thrilled to be launching the made in India metal 3D printer line in its regional market. The firm was established in 2012. It is the best player in the bourgeoning metal 3D printing sector in India. The company offers end-end-end services to clients in the engineering, automotive, aerospace, and medicinal markets.
The recently launched iFusion metal 3D printing machine line comprises of the iFusion LFMulti and iFusion SF1. The iFusion SF1 is a bit compact metal 3D printing system that is created for usage in R&D laboratories. It also meant to be used in universities, research institutions, and some educational settings.
On its part, the iFusion LFMulti is a huge system furnished with several lasers. It is designed for technical metal AM purposes.
CEO of Intech Additive Solutions, Sridhar Balaram said the following:
“The iFusion series of metal 3D printers, based on the Selective Laser Melting technology and the first of its kind in India, are designed for high precision, stability, reliability and to deliver unmatched performance with higher build rates.”
He also said that the affordable devices are a section of the firm’s 3D eco system. The system has software packaged in for device parameter optimization. It also develops processes that are sold as a unit.
“The overall target of Intech is to reduce the cost of acquisition, cost of operations and first time right with a quick go to market,” he added.
The engineers of Intech Additive Solutions put in more than 30,000 hours of study and development time during the last 36 months. This is to get the iFusion line to market. Currently, the firm has 3D printed more than 800 pieces by use of its regionally produced systems. This is through the use of different metal materials.
AMOptoMet is Intech Additive Solutions’ in-house developed software program that supports iFusion hardware. The firm also states that it is presently creating another platform called AMBuilder. This will complete the firm’s metal additive manufacturing contribution in India.
The latest metal 3D printing machine line is presently being exhibited at Imtex 2020. This is the Indian Metal Forming Exhibition.
