3D Systems has revealed the unveiling of a uniquely optimized Figure 4 program for jewelry processes. It represents an extension of the firm’s contribution to the jewelry industry. This already involves the ProJet MJP 2500W and some castable resins. It is considered fit for the printing of jewelry molding designs, master designs for molds. It is also suitable for fit-check or prototype prints.

The latest repetition of Figure 4 device provides accuracy, pace, and excellent feature detail abilities. It also harnesses glossy surface polish abilities which the standard system promises.
This is while including two extra innovations. Initially, MicroPoint support formations with mixing Figure 4’s non-contact membrane technology. This assists to reduce part-to-support interconnection and allows uniform sidewalls and exceptional resolution. This is all for printed pieces.
Next, 3D Systems’ Sprint software now claims exclusive print build fashions created respectively for Jewelry. This offers the users access to additional features such as the capability to modify sharp spines and fine net.
Those are not the only advantages of utilizing Figure 4Jewerly program. There are also other advantages. They include the following;
- Print paces of 16/mm/hr
- Straightforward to support removal owing to the ultra-fine peak support formations of MicroPoint
- Figure 4 JCAST-GRN 10 material enables users to instantly make casting designs
Materials explicit to the master design molds and fit-check or prototyping processes will be unveiled this year.
According to reports, 3D Systems thinks its new launch will allow jewelry experts to obtain authentic products quicker paces. This will assist them to be the masters in their areas.
Speaking about the launch, Senior Vice president and General Manager, Plastics at 3D Systems, Menno Ellis said the following:
“With the launch of our Figure 4 Jewelry solution, 3D Systems continues to enable new applications for our Figure 4 production solution. Building upon our industry-leading technology and materials portfolio, we are able to help jewelers create designs with unprecedented speed and accuracy.”
He also said that this is another additional illustration of how their company is combining their expertise in materials science, AM technology, application engineering, and software to offer solutions. He said the solutions help maintain their clients at the lead of their specific sectors and markets.
